Ghost vs. Hellboy


13 years ago, I was forced to stop drawing a book I dearly loved drawing, GHOST, for Dark Horse Comics. Just as I had to leave, i was about to start drawing GHOST/HELLBOY, which was my idea. (Fortunately, I recommended my pal Scott Benefiel for the gig, and he did a bangup job!) This is the only piece Mignola and I did for the book, unpublished as it is. Ah well! - mh

Heh heh ... I'm lucky enough to know Scotty B. (he sometimes posts on the TuesdayArtGroup blog ... Very capable artist indeed (and I did see some of his Ghost pages in his portfolio here at Rockstar once when he dropped in. A page with Ghost hanging from chains was a jaw dropper ...
